Concept

hi! I think the concept from class that I thought was the most helpful was the adapting to your audience concept. I say this because this concept allowed me to fully understand what I should look for when planning a speech. Would I really want to talk about a certain subject if it is going to affect the way the audience responds? There are many diverse background and a speaker needs to take that to account, you can't speak about certain subjects if it is not appropriate, in otherwords, some people might not find it that enjoyable, so one needs to find a topic or choose a side that isn't offensive. In addition, I also like the concept about facts and statistics. When one includes facts and statistics, the audience has more reason to believe the speaker and be for their argument,instead of against, especially when it comes to a persuasive essay! -Jeter!
