Discussion Week 4.2 Speech Buddies

Hey there! :)
This week while watching the speech buddie videos, I learned some stuff about managing a resource process. I like how the video talked about going to the library to do one's research for it is the perfect place to look for sources because there are so many different books and a plethora of different sources. For example, there are articles, old newspapers, encyclopedias, books, and journals.
The library is a pivotal thing when doing research. By using these resources, you can be pretty sure that they are all worth some credibility. Afterall, one can not really believe anything on the internet now. Knowing everything about your topic and knowing that your sources are credible will make me feel a whole lot more comfortable speaking in front of people. To explain, I won't be wondering whether some people know that what I am talking about is true or not.(haha)
Even if someone thinks that they know a whole lot about their topic, that should not stop them from going out and doing some research. It's actually pretty cool when you find something out that you did not know. :)

  1. Hey!
I completely agree! Especially with the Library we have here on campus , we should definatly find many new things about our topics. Sometimes I think people forget about the libary and just go online to do research. Although that is easier, people may be losing out on info this way. Good luck with your research!

  2. Hello Mz. Jeter! Wow, your blog has changed quite a bit. :)

I like how you mentioned the idea of credibility. YES YES YES!!! You need to evaluate the credibility of your sources. What sources other than internet are you planning on using for your speech?
