Hey there!! :)
Well my alias name is mz.jeter, the name says it all. This is my first year at San Jose
State University, I am originally from Soledad which is not so far from SJSU. Even though I am not far away away from home,the transition from living at home and living in the dorms has been difficult for me because it is a total different environment. Academic wise,I enjoy my classes but I think what makes college difficult is the lack in self disipline. When people do not have self disipline then it is hard to maintain good grades. I have struggled with that because it is from going to an enviroment with teachers, parents, and mentors always being there for you and pushing you to study,to being by myself and getting myself to do work. When it comes to public speaking,I have very little experience and do not feel comfortable with it but I am looking to improve it. My shy side always dominates and that is when I begin to feel uncomfortable being in front of people. I hope to overcome my shyness and be able to speak in front of anyone. :)
P.S- I have this obsession with baseball. I pretty much love everything about it,
especially Derek Jeter, the shortstop for the New York Yankees. He plays awesome,and best of all, looks awesome in his uniform. :)
